The Athabasca University online Bachelor of Management is available in three and four-year programs

The Bachelor of Management program provides you with a broad, critical perspective of management in public and private organizations and the knowledge and skills you need to make immediate and meaningful contributions in a variety of management and leadership roles. By focusing on the general management of resources, markets and human potential, the degree enables students to pursue careers in a broad range of private, public, and not-for-profit settings.

The Bachelor of Management is offered as a either a three-year or four-year degree program. Students in the three-year business program can complete a general degree only, while those in the four-year program can choose a human resources management majormarketing major, or indigenous nations and organizations major.

The online Bachelor of Management is a people-focused degree that takes a strong international perspective on business and explores the ethical, global, political, and environmental issues that organizations face every day.

We’re updating our Bachelor of Management (BMgmt) and Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) programs to be better aligned. New program plans for any new student or student looking to change their program are available here. These plans come into effect January 1, 2019.

Students who are already in the BMgmt or BComm programs will still follow the regulations that are in effect from when they were accepted into the program.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to a program advisor for assistance.
