Bachelor of Commerce Degree
A rigorous and recognized online four-year business and management degree
Many of Athabasca University’s (AU) online bachelor of commerce (BComm) students are working adults studying toward degrees on their own schedules outside of work. This approach lets students constantly apply what they are learning online to real-world situations, which enriches their education immensely.
The online BComm is one of the most highly recognized credentials in the Canadian business community. AU graduates stand out from the crowd as motivated self-starters who combine a desire to succeed with proven skills in time management, technology usage, and leadership.
This online business program explores all core areas of business, including marketing, statistics, finance, accounting, information systems, organizational behaviour, and commercial law. It offers an accounting degree, finance major, and business technology management major.
We’re updating our Bachelor of Management (BMgmt) and Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) programs to be better aligned. New program plans for any new student or student looking to change their program are available here. These plans come into effect January 1, 2019.
Students who are already in the BMgmt or BComm programs will still follow the regulations that are in effect from when they were accepted into the program.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to a program advisor for assistance.
