Biography

Dr Kam Jugdev joined Athabasca University in 2003 following a career as a project manager. She is an active researcher in the field of project management as it relates to strategy. Dr. Jugdev is the recipient of several large research grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Her research program also includes the topics of burnout and the free rider problem. She engages in collaborative research in online education.

Dr Jugdev enjoys working closely with her students. She has been a supervisor, co-supervisor, or committee member with over 25 doctoral students, 50 Applied Project students, and 20 MSc/MEng students. In addition to her research, teaching, and service responsibilities, Dr Jugdev is a member of the Editorial Board for the International Journal of Project Management and International Journal of Managing Projects in Business.
