Online Graduate Diploma in Management

Building on your existing management experience and expertise, the Graduate Diploma in Management (GDM) will provide you with a Graduate level foundation in general management. The GDM is the first phase of our MBA and is a stand-alone credential.

A solid foundation in general management

The Graduate Diploma in Management (GDM) is awarded after successful completion of the online MBA for executives program’s Phase One courses and comprehensive exam.

The GDM can be taken as a stand-alone credential but it is not a lower level of study than the MBA for executives program; it is a portion of the MBA program and thus, the admission requirements are the same.

The MBA Phase One core courses integrate to provide working managers with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills in the key areas of general management: strategy, economics, human resources, finance, marketing, and operations.

GDM students and MBA students take their classes together, and GDM students who successfully complete all Phase One courses and the comprehensive exam may apply to transfer directly into Phase Two of the MBA.

Is the Online Graduate Diploma in Management Right for You?

Our curriculum is challenging, and concentrates on the key management areas that affect organizational performance: strategy, analytics, human resources, finance, marketing, operations, and information technology. It requires you to exercise your critical thinking and decision making skills, and to apply what you are learning to your work in your own organization—leading to immediate workplace and career impacts.
