Growing Up Canadian

Canada 150

Here at the Athabasca University Faculty of Business office, we celebrated Canada’s sesquicentennial in a couple of different ways.

We interviewed recent Bachelor of Commerce Graduate, Tara Lerer, about her life growing up across Canada. Tara has lived in three different provinces and two territories and was even chased by a baby black bear! Read her story here.

Our office staff also participated in the making of a Canada 150 Mural. The entire project was coloured by our staff and later hung in our office with pride.

And check out our “What’s the most Canadian thing you’ve done?” video from Convocation.

SCMP Designation

Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) and Athabasca University

Supply chain management plays a critical role in achieving efficient business operations. Today, progressive companies invest in and depend on Supply Chain Management Professionals (SCMP) to maintain their competitive advantage and stronger presence in the global marketplace.

Did you know that if you completed your MBA with Athabasca University within the last five years, SCMA will grant advanced standing within the SCMP program, enabling you to finish faster and at a reduced cost.

Learn more about the SCMP designation in your province here.
