Athabasca University extends its sincerest thoughts and well-wishes to students, their families, and friends, who have been affected by the devastating wildfires in British Columbia. Your well-being is of utmost importance to us and right now the best thing that you can do, is to take care of yourself and your loved ones.
If you are a Faculty of Business student living in one of the affected B.C. wildfire areas, please note that AU has made the following accommodations:
- Free course withdrawals, including a full tuition refund
- Waived exam re-booking fees
- Waived course-extension fees
- Replacement of any lost or damaged AU course materials
Given the severity of the damage, we recognize that some students may have to put studies on hold for a while. If you are one of these students, we’ll be here when you’re ready to return. We want you to successfully complete your course(s) on a timeline that works for you and your family. We are here to help with any and all steps in the process.
