Nicola Archibald, MBA ‘17 started a new job as of August 7, 2018. Her new role is Delivery Manager with Compugen, a Canada wide IT services company. She is looking forward to helping clients implement IT solutions. 

Bakar Mansaray, MBA ’06, received Writer-of-the-Year 2017, Afro-Canadian Heroes Award.

He is a Canadian author whose works have appeared in Maple Tree Literary Supplement, Sierra Leonean Writers Series, Ayebia African and Caribbean Publishing Specialists. Bakar is the founder of Mandingo Scrolls Series. He is a member of the Writers’ Guild of Alberta.

Alex Tardecilla, MBA’05 is currently working in Labrador City, NL with Rio Tinto-Iron Ore Company of Canada as a Consultant of Contracts Management, Mine Development projects.

Tim McCleary, MBA’01 recently completed the 30km Troltunga hike with his 4 kids in Norway. For Tim, “it was wonderful to get away from busy lives and share an adventure together.  Disconnecting from technology and enjoying the outdoors was rejuvenating.  I have underestimated the value of disconnecting in the past but will ensure not to do it again. So many benefits personally and professionally. ”

 

Dave Rebbitt, MBA’12, recently published Effective Safety Committees: A Practical Guide which is the ultimate guide for safety personnel and employees on building and maintaining safety committees. Read more about his book here.

Jamal El Ali, MBA’06 presents a step-by-step guide using Jamal’s Four-Step Process to achieve the project’s objectives successfully in his new book Project Janitor: Cleaning Other Manager’s Mess and explains how learning a simplified process and following it could enable organizations to save a significant amount of resources and enjoy successful project delivery.
