A solid foundation in general management

The Graduate Diploma in Management (GDM) is awarded after successful completion of the Online MBA for executives program’s Phase One courses and comprehensive exam.

The GDM can be taken as a stand-alone credential but it is not a lower level of study than the MBA for executives program; it is a portion of the MBA program and thus, the admission requirements are the same.

The MBA Phase One core courses integrate to provide working managers with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills in the key areas of general management: strategy, economics, human resources, finance, marketing, and operations.

GDM students and MBA students take their classes together, and GDM students who successfully complete all Phase One courses and the comprehensive exam may apply to transfer directly into Phase Two of the MBA.

Curriculum »

Students who wish to apply to the MBA for executives on the basis of experience only (minimum 8 years of substantial management experience) must apply to the GDM first. Upon successful completion of all Phase One courses and the comprehensive exam, they may apply to transfer into Phase Two of the MBA.
