In addition, we make it possible for you to earn a university education regardless of where you live or work, and even if you have career and family commitments. By removing barriers of time, space, and past educational experience we are able to provide the opportunity to learn in sophisticated and individualized ways. By paying careful attention to the design of courses, ensuring appropriate content and visual design, and providing numerous and flexible delivery systems, we offer opportunity—a university education free of conventional barriers.

You can start an AU course at any time of the year and proceed at your own pace over a six-month period. We offer a full library service, regardless of where you live. Within the Faculty of Business, individualized administrative and academic assistance is available through toll-free telephone access or email. Courses are available online or as print-based material if needed. Now, where there is a will to learn, there is a way to learn.

Most post-secondary courses are intended to meet the needs of multiple student audience and thus may not fulfill the requirements of any one professional accounting organization in their entirety. As a result, you should not rely solely on the courses listed herein to provide you with the level of knowledge, comprehension, or application required by entrance or other qualifying exams. You are encouraged to study for these exams based on the specific requirements outlined in the most recent syllabus of the applicable professional accounting organization. This may mean that you need to supplement your post-secondary course work with more syllabus-specific studies.
