A solid foundation in general management
The Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Management (PBDM) is awarded after successful completion of the Executive MBA program’s Phase One courses and comprehensive exam.
The PBDM can be taken as a stand-alone credential but it is not a lower level of study than the MBA for Executives program; it is a portion of the MBA program and thus, the admission requirements are the same.
The MBA Phase One core courses integrate to provide working managers with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills in the key areas of general management: strategy, economics, human resources, finance, marketing, and operations.
Again, since the PBDM is part of the MBA program, all courses are online and paced. PBDM students and MBA students take their classes together, and PBDM students who successfully complete all Phase One courses and the comprehensive exam may apply to transfer directly into Phase Two of the MBA.
Students who wish to apply to the MBA for Executives on the basis of experience only (minimum 8 years of substantial management experience) must apply to the PBDM first. Upon successful completion of all Phase One courses and the comprehensive exam, they may apply to transfer into Phase Two of the MBA.
