Lee Ann Keple graduated from le Collège militaire royal de Saint-Jean and received her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Alberta. She served in the Canadian Forces and has over 25 years professional experience with industry and not-for-profit organizations across Canada.

Lee Ann was the Centre Chair, Organizational Studies and Marketing in Athabasca University’s Faculty of Business and spent eight years as the Academic Coordinator for Marketing and Entrepreneurship. She has been an Academic Coach with the EMBA program since 1998.

Prior to joining Athabasca University, Lee Ann was employed in logistics, bank management, and as a fundraising and marketing executive. She is an online management consultant who partners with clients seeking expertise and problem solving on business decisions related to marketing, strategy and analytics.

Lee Ann’s teaching interests are doing whatever it takes to help learners get the most out of their online courses. She was awarded Athabasca University President’s Award for Teaching/Mentoring Excellence 2003.

Her research and consulting interests include analytics (demographic and psychographic trends), consumer behavior, marketing research, social media, advertising & promotion and strategy. Her industry interests have largely been driven through client interaction, with focus on not-for-profits, the Canadian Forces, policing, health care and Canadian cultural industries. Lee Ann enjoys taking multi-disciplinary approaches to projects and transferring learnings and best practices from one industry into another.
