Cheryl Zurawski

Cheryl Zurawski is an academic coordinator (undergraduate program) and academic coach (graduate program).  She has been with the Faculty of Business since 2013.

After 25 years as a communications practitioner for various private and public sector organizations, one of which was her own consulting business, Cheryl pursued graduate studies. She earned her master’s in continuing education (leadership and organizational development) from the University of Calgary in 2003 and her PhD in education (adult education and human resource development) from the University of Regina in 2012.  In addition to her work for Athabasca University, Dr. Zurawski works as a sessional lecturer in the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Education.

Cheryl’s research interests include adult education, cross-cultural leadership, human resource management and development, organizational communication, the social organization of knowledge (institutional ethnography) and workplace learning.
